Botanica

We met my mom at Botanica this afternoon, and we had the best time! The sun came out right as we got there, and we almost had the place to ourselves. This summer they have a traveling art exhibit of ocean animals made out of trash found in the ocean. The penguins were a favorite. We had fun identifying some of the pieces of trash including shoes, tooth brushes, a boat seat, a cooler, and lots and lots of plastic bottles and lids. 

Last Day of School & Piano Recital

We had a big day today! Natalie and Max had their last day of school, and the rest of us surprised my mom at her retirement reception. (We forgot to take a picture!) Then we hurried back home to get ready for Natalie's piano recital. She played beautifully and had a fun time. Now on to summer!!

Neighbors

We were missing a couple, but most of the neighbor gang made an impromptu trip to the splash park this afternoon. 

Easy Like Sunday Morning

For the record, Sunday mornings are usually not "easy." This morning did actually go pretty smoothly though, and then I walked by this scene once we got home from church, and I just had to capture the moment.
