Isabel rolled from her tummy to her back for the first and second times today!

Natalie is 7!

We celebrated this sweet seven year old today. She is such a good big sister that she even shared blowing out her birthday candles. ❤️ This age is so fun. Her little mind is full of big ideas and insightful questions, and I’m loving and savoring every bit of it.

This and that

Our kids are always in our trees. Max took his new book from the book order out to the tree right when we got home from school a couple days ago.

I think Emma is probably our first two-year-old tree climber. She can get up and down all by herself, and just yesterday she went higher than I want to remember!

Natalie's Birthday: Round One

We kicked off Natalie's birthday week yesterday with a mermaid party with five of her friends from school. The girls decorated mermaid tail cookies and played mermaid bingo. They were all so sweet and so excited. Natalie said it was "the best birthday ever".

3 Months

Isabel is three months old today, and we can't get over how precious she is! She is such a happy, smiley, and talkative little gal. Her coos are as sweet as they come.

She has been getting a lot stronger lately. She can hold her head up really well during tummy time, and she is so close to rolling over. She wiggles around enough when she's on her back that she can change positions. I will put her down on the floor one way, and when I look at her a few minutes later, her head will be where her feet had just been.

She loves to chew on her hands and sometimes sucks her thumb or fingers for comfort. I would love to have a thumb sucker, so I'm hoping she keeps it up.

She is growing and changing so quickly right now, and we are loving every bit of it! She has made these three months so special.

Fun at Grandpa's Pond

We spent this weekend in Yates Center and had a really fun weenie roast/fishing trip at the pond Saturday evening. Max and Natalie are getting to be good little fishermen. They both caught big bass with their new big kid fishing poles. Emma had fun fishing, but her favorite part was playing with the worms.

Pumpkin Patch

We celebrated a friend's birthday with hot dogs, s'mores, and fun at the pumpkin patch this evening. The kids came home very dirty and very tired - both signs of a good time.

Agco Family Day

We all had fun at the Agco company picnic this afternoon. Natalie said it was the best day ever.
