It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas

Natalie started talking about decorating for Christmas before we even came home from our Thanksgiving trip to my parents' house. To say we're in the Christmas spirit around here would be an understatement. We've got big plans for lots of baked goods and crafts over the next few weeks. We'll see how many we actually accomplish.

The kids have decided they're just going to mail Santa their Christmas lists instead of sitting on his lap to tell him in person because he's a pretty scary guy. Max told me some of the things on his list as I rocked him to sleep tonight. His list includes a tractor to ride in with buttons to push, a diving board, a pretend panda, and the huge ball pit/bounce house from the Target catalog that he is just sure will fit in his room. Santa has his work cut out for him.

Story Time

Our friend Beth started leading story time at the library this morning. She's the best. She had the kids up and down, singing, dancing, and painting. They had so much fun.

I think preschool is really helping Natalie open up in social situations because now she sits right up front and answers all the questions.
