Weekend in Omaha

We spent last weekend in Omaha for Chris' cousin's wedding. Most of our fun went unphotographed, but I did get these pictures at the zoo and the hotel pool. The kids got to swim with their cousins all three days, which was definitely the highlight of their trip!

Isabel is 2!

We have had so much fun celebrating the birthday girl these last two days. We had a party with the O'Hallorans yesterday, and we had fun at the park and at home today. We're extending the celebration with a birthday trip to YC in a couple weeks. Isabel has been living it up as the birthday girl. She has been singing, "Happy birthday to Isabel!" on repeat. 

Chris' Birthday

Happy belated birthday (blog post), Chris! Only the blog post is late. The cake and the candles were punctual. 

Early Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Chris' birthday one day early with brunch at IHOP after church, fun at the farm, and ice cream on the way home. We had the best day, and the kids all fell asleep easily this evening!

Dairy Farm

The kids have talked for a long time about visiting the dairy farm where Aedan works. Emma asked Leigh Ann about it recently, and Leigh Ann and Aedan were so great about setting up a time for us to visit. Aedan was a wonderful tour guide! I had so many questions, and he had answers for them all. We had so much fun even though the kids were pretty nervous around the cows. At supper tonight Emma said that she wants to work at the dairy when she's older. I told her that would be great but that she would have to get close to the cows, and she quickly changed her mind and decided to get a different job.

Fourth of July

We ate patriotic popsicles while we shot off small fireworks this evening, and Max and Isabel caught part of our neighbors' fireworks show right before bedtime.
