Our New Ride

Emma has been very excited to ride next to Isabel in our new (to us) stroller to pick up Natalie and Max from school the past couple of days.

Two Months

Isabel is two months old today! She is growing and changing every day, and we are having so much fun watching.

Her sweetest developments this month have been her smiles and coos. We all love to talk to her and have her talk back. She has recently started sucking her fingers, and I'm hoping that we might finally have a thumb sucker.

I think she is adjusting to life in the world because she is much more easygoing now than she was a few weeks ago. She is even considerate enough to sleep her longest stretch in the early morning while we're all getting ready for school. She is such a sweet baby. We're so lucky to call her ours.

Grandpa's Canoe

Grandpa John just got a canoe, and the kids have been excited to ride in it. Chris took them on their first ride this morning, and to my surprise no one tipped the boat or fell out!

Isabel didn't get a turn on the canoe, but here she is practicing her smirk.

Little Swathers

Natalie cheered with the high school cheerleaders at the football game tonight. She had so much fun!

They requested to take a funny one.

Emma enjoyed candy from the concession stand while we watched the first half of the game.

State Fair

It's State Fair time again! The kids have been looking forward to this weekend for a long time, and it did not disappoint. On our way home Natalie told us that this is the best day of the month.

The Little Girls

Our days feel very different now that the big kids are both at school all day. I'm having to remember how to do life with just a toddler and a baby. I will say that staying home with two little ones feels much easier the second time around! Our days are quieter and slower than they were a couple weeks ago, but these sweet sisters make the days so fun.

Emma was singing "Jingle Bells" while digging in the sand at the park this morning.

Some sweet faces from Isabel who started smiling at us last week!
