Lately

The kids and the neighbor kids have really been enjoying the electric ride on toys lately. Emma likes to drive the tractor, but sometimes she has steering issues and ends up in the bushes.

Natalie and Max made it in the newspaper for the library summer reading program!

Emma is getting pretty good on the balance bike. She figured out how to balance and glide recently, but she picks her legs all the way up when she glides, which is pretty cute.

Botanica

I took the kids to Botanica last week, and we all had a great time in the children's garden. They have a new Lego exhibit this summer, which our Lego-loving kids really enjoyed!

Donuts at the park

Chris always takes the kids to get donuts for Saturday morning breakfast, but I filled in this week, and we took them to the park for a fun morning outside.

Fishing

The kids got to go fishing at Grandpa John's pond last weekend. Max caught 15 fish on his first trip! Then the girls came along on the second trip, and Max and Natalie each caught one, and Emma caught a stick. They all had a blast!

Max had a great first tee ball game this evening! He played pitcher, outfield, and short stop and had some good hits. He was playing against his good friend Grace, so they snuck in some waves and high fives on the field. We all had a fun time and are looking forward to his next game next week.

First day at the pool

The rain and cold temperatures have kept us away from the pool so far this summer, but we finally got to go this afternoon! We got a pool pass this year, so the plan is to have a summer full of swimming!
