Catching up

I've been falling behind on my blogging!

We got a lot of rain this weekend, and the big kids had fun playing in the puddles.

Chris has been playing pickle ball with some friends over his lunch break when the weather is nice, and the kids got to go along when they were home from school for Martin Luther King Day. Max wanted to learn how to play after that, so now he has his own pickle ball set.

We have been trying to get out for walks when it's not too cold. Natalie and Max prefer to skate. They're getting a lot better!

Chiefs!

Max has become a big fan of the NFL lately. He reads all the NFL books he can find at school. Now he knows all sorts of facts about the teams and their players, but of course his favorite team is the Chiefs. He was all decked out for the AFC championship game tonight, and he even had confetti under his hat just in case the Chiefs won. He got to use his confetti, and we're all excited for the Super Bowl in a couple weeks!

Butterfinger Cake!

Chris and Max bought this Butterfinger Dairy Queen birthday cake last weekend, and we have been dreaming of it all week. We had a fun birthday celebration tonight that ended with the cake, and it did not disappoint!

Nee! Nee!

Isabel is 18 months old today, and in true toddler fashion she has recently become a lot more independent. Whenever she wants a turn at something or whenever she wants to do something on her own, she says "Nee! Nee!" for "Me! Me!" The big kids think it's the cutest thing ever, and Chris and I are enjoying pretending that it's going to stay cute and not get demanding over the next few months!

Sisters

Isabel loves when the big kids will play in her bed with her!
