Smiley

Isabel is such a smiley girl. She lights up and talks to me every time she sees me, so I've been able to get a lot of sweet pictures lately.
   

 

She's also pretty sweet when she sleeps too.

Music Makers

Emma and cousin Anna love weekly story time. The songs are especially fun and catchy. Emma sings them at home throughout the week. Here they are with their rhythm sticks singing, "Up high make some music (or "mumic" if you're Emma)."

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Max and Chris went to the pumpkin patch with the kindergarten classes today, and they both came back with lots of fun stories to tell. The smile on Max's face in these pictures says it all!

Our New Ride

Emma has been very excited to ride next to Isabel in our new (to us) stroller to pick up Natalie and Max from school the past couple of days. 

Two Months

Isabel is two months old today! She is growing and changing every day, and we are having so much fun watching.

Her sweetest developments this month have been her smiles and coos. We all love to talk to her and have her talk back. She has recently started sucking her fingers, and I'm hoping that we might finally have a thumb sucker.

I think she is adjusting to life in the world because she is much more easygoing now than she was a few weeks ago. She is even considerate enough to sleep her longest stretch in the early morning while we're all getting ready for school. She is such a sweet baby. We're so lucky to call her ours.
