More Emma

As I'm sure you can tell, we're having a horrible time over here snuggling sweet Emma all day. We live a hard life.

Teepee!

Grandpa Mike surprised Max with this teepee yesterday! His bank was having a drawing for it, and they asked him if he had any grandchildren to enter in the drawing. Instead of entering all twelve grandchildren, he entered one name per family, and Max won!

We made headdresses and drums, and the kids made some beautiful music inside the teepee yesterday. Today we read our stack of library books inside of it. Thanks, Grandpa!

Two Weeks

Emma is two weeks old already! Time is absolutely flying. I'm getting a bit sentimental about the fact that she's no longer my teeny 7 pound baby. She weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces at the doctor this morning. I'm so proud of her for eating and growing so well, but I'm not quite ready to put the newborn clothes away just yet.

Natalie and Emma wore matching outfits today. Dressing them alike just might be my new obsession.

Emma's Newborn Photos

Emma's newborn pictures took some work because she really didn't want to stay asleep, but these sweet pictures were absolutely worth the work. I'm so so happy to have this precious but oh so fleeting time with our tiny girl captured in these beautiful pictures.
