Ice Cream Date

We went out for ice cream after supper tonight. I got a dish to share with Emma, but she decided to help herself to licks of everyone else's cones instead.

Max finally braved the fire pole at the park, and now he loves it!

Emma is the best baby-hugger around.

We spent most of today outside. Max and Chris did a little batting practice, and they had a pretty cute cheering section.

Jackets in June

We were a little chilly outside this morning which felt so strange! I asked for a picture, and everyone followed Emma's posing lead.

Book Walk

We went on the first book walk of the summer at the arboretum this morning. Natalie read the pages to us, and Emma hoarded rocks and sticks. Fun was had by all!

Happy Father's Day

We had a full and fun Father's Day that ended with free admission and free ice cream at the pool!

When we ask Emma what she thinks about ice cream, she smacks her lips and dances around. That's my girl!

Bookworm

Natalie spent part of her afternoon reading in her favorite climbing tree.

Our Day

Natalie is taking swimming lessons this week and next. She loves it and excitedly bounces in the water as she waits for her turn with the teacher.

Max didn't want to sign up for swimming lessons this year. I think he might be changing his mind though.

Max came up with a window cleaning game this afternoon that (as expected) proved to be more of a mess than anything else, but he was very excited to "help".

Backyard Fun

Bushes full of berries and new (to us) kid golf clubs have kept us busy this week.

Farm Day

The kids had a blast playing with all of their cousins at Grandpa Mike's farm yesterday, and the grown-ups all had a lot of fun too. We were having such a good time that we ended up spending the whole day enjoying the beautiful weather and good company!
