Abby is 2!

We had such a fun day celebrating Abby today! She was so excited when we sang to her and she got to blow out her candles. We are all in agreement that she should still be a baby and definitely not a two-year-old. We love watching her sweet little personality develop, and we all still gush at each new word or skill she learns. She is such a joy in our lives. 

Emma is 7!

Emma is easy to celebrate. She brings fun and excitement to all that she does. Being the middle child gives her a fun advantage in that she plays well with both the big kids and the little kids. She is definitely a light in our family, and it is such an honor to be able to watch her grow. 

Book fair

The book fair was a success. Abby loves the first book about this squirrel, so she was very excited to find the followup.

Chiefs!

Max and Chris made history a couple weeks ago! They went to the coldest Chiefs game to be played at Arrowhead Stadium! Some friends from church got the idea to make the trip after they saw the low ticket prices caused by the cold temperatures. Chris and Max decided to join, and after a couple hours of scrounging up layers and blankets, they were off! The Chiefs won, the guys got home after midnight, and they made memories that will last a lifetime.

Spelling Bee

Natalie won the middle school spelling bee today!
