Max had a great first baseball game of the season tonight. He has really been enjoying being catcher, and he also had a great hit.

Piano Recital

I love piano recital day! The kids always put on such a great show, and this year was no exception. Natalie was excited to get to play a duet as well as her solo this year. She played beautifully, and her siblings were so supportive. We ended the evening with pizza at Back Alley. It was a great night!

We have officially entered the pull-the-one-year-old-back-from-the-street-over-and-over-again stage of playing outside. 

Memorial Day BBQ

We had the Hesston O'Hallorans over for a BBQ and water fun for the kids this evening. It was a beautiful evening and a fun start to summer!

Colorado Vacation

We surprised the kids with a family vacation to the Rocky Mountains this week! This was a trip that we have wanted to take for quite a while, and it far exceeded our expectations. The kids had never seen the mountains before, so they were really excited. 

We stayed in the mountains at an Airbnb with a beautiful view and a really fun loft. We hiked, picnicked, played games, and enjoyed the view and the family time on our first two days. The next day we explored Native American cliff dwellings and Garden of the Gods. We had the best time. It was such a fun way to kick off our summer break!

Last Day of School

Thursday was the last day of school! The kids had a great year, but we're all excited for summer! It was also Natalie's last day of elementary school. We got to go to the 4th grade "clap up" where we lined the sidewalk and clapped the 4th graders up to middle school.
