Sleepy

Emma is transitioning from two naps to one, which means she is very very sleepy around lunch time. This morning she couldn't quite make it home from the park. I looked back in the bike trailer to find her like this.

Ashley's Wedding Weekend

We spent the weekend in Manhattan for my cousin Ashley's wedding. Natalie and Max were flower girl and ring bearer. It was fun to be back at St. Isidore's - where Chris and I got married and spent so much of our time while we were at K-State.

Max had fun picking up and trying on his suit the day before.

We had a lot of fun at breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma the morning of the wedding. All of our plates were huge and delicious, but Natalie's smiley face pancake was especially impressive.

Natalie got to get ready for the wedding with the big girls. She especially loved her robe, which she said looked like "Japan clothes".

Waiting for the wedding to start:

Emma loves any party with cupcakes!

This morning we ate at Varsity Donuts and checked out the lazy river in front of the hotel after mass.

What a full and fun wedding weekend! Congratulations Bryce and Ashley!

Pool Rats

They're big fans of the pool!

Emma figured out the Swather slide this afternoon and went down it over and over again.

New Pool!

We checked out the new city pool this afternoon, and we were all really impressed! Natalie's favorite part was the "deep end" (3 foot) of the little kids' section. Max said his favorite was the Swather slide, and Emma's favorite, if I'm being honest, was the decorative gravel along the sidewalk. We will definitely be back soon!

That's Natalie's little purple swimming suit getting drenched under the big waterfall!

Library

We have been making lots of library trips lately. Going through your stack of library books too fast is a good problem to have!

Splash Park

The water at the splash park is turned on for summer, and the kids are so excited! Emma spent most of the time running around laughing!
