Abigail's Newborn Pictures

We absolutely love how Abigail's newborn pictures turned out! The kids all did so well and made the process really pretty easy and fun. I especially love all of the family pictures. Here are some of my favorites:

Sleeping Abigail

Does the blog need four mostly-identical-except-for-the-outfit pictures of Abigail sleeping? Most definitely.

Abigail's Baptism

Abigail had a beautiful baptism on Sunday, March 27. We were so happy to have so many family members there to celebrate with us. Abigail's uncle Keith and aunt Leigh Ann are her godparents. She slept through the entire baptism and most of her party afterward. Just like all of her sisters, she wore the baptismal gown that my great-grandma made for my baptism. Welcome to the church, little Abigail!

3 Weeks

Abigail is three weeks old today. 

Emma holds her the most by far, and they have some sweet sister chats. A few days ago Emma was telling Abigail about preschool and all of the things she would need to learn to do before she could go. Today she told me she was pretending that Abigail was a year old and walked to her to be held, She also told me that she might want to borrow this bear outfit from me if her babies are ever this size.

Sunday Best - 2.5 Weeks

Abigail got all dressed up for church this morning. She seems so tiny, but she is definitely growing. I took her to the doctor for her two week check up on Friday, and she weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and was 22.5 inches long.

Spring Break

All the kids were home on Spring Break today, and we had a great day!

Wichita

We made a trip to Wichita today to get pictures taken with Abigail. Pam, who took Emma's and Isabel's newborn pictures here in Hesston, isn't doing newborn photography anymore, so we found a new photographer just a little further down the road. We did family pictures first, and then Chris took the big kids for donuts and a quick zoo trip while Abigail and I stayed for her own little photo shoot. We had a fun trip, and Abigail slept through almost the whole thing.
