Summer, don't go! We have been spending our afternoons outside by the inflatable pool trying to soak up the last bit of summer break.
Isabel wore her first ponytail yesterday! I'll have to get a better picture of it soon, but this one with Max's arm around her is too sweet.
Emma loves to play babies. Three babies come along with us to get the mail these days. She carries one on her back, one in the car seat, and one in the stroller.
Today was such a fun day. We biked around town in beautiful weather this morning and stopped for a snack and lots of pictures by the fountain at Lake Vista. Then this tub of rice entertained Emma for the entire afternoon. By the end of the day she was lying in the tub trying to bury herself in the rice. That bag of rice might be the best $4 toy I've ever purchased.
Isabel likes to pretend to wash her hands and her hair whenever she sees a soap bottle. She taps the top of the bottle a few times to pretend to get some soap and then rubs her hands together or rubs them through her hair. This morning she was really getting into "washing" her hair.
Ta-da! We had a lot of fun making our shirts, and I'm pleasantly surprised with how easy it was and how well they turned out. We have a lot of dye left, so we may come up with some more projects over the next couple weeks.
